Marine Division

Our Marine Division is staffed by sworn Deputy Sheriff's that are certified by the State of Alabama. These Deputies patrol Lake Guntersville, enforcing both state and local boating laws. Deputies enforce safe boating practices on all waterways of Lake Guntersville and can assist in any emergency situation along the river.

Lake Guntersville provides a unique situation as the lake is on the Tennessee River and flows through several counties in the northern part of the state. The Marshall County Sheriff's Office has jurisdiction to patrol and maintain the safety of the river through our county.
