Child Pornography Arrest

A joint investigation conducted by the Marshall County Sheriff's Office and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force culminated in the execution of a search warrant at a residence located on Mount Vernon Homes in Boaz. As a direct result of the investigation and search warrant, Brandon Timothy Ricks, 20, of Boaz was arrested and charged with 5 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and 1 count of Possession with Intent to Disseminate Child Pornography. He is currently being held at the Marshall County jail with no bond pending an initial hearing before a judge.

Evidence was seized during the execution of the search warrant, and it will be utilized to prosecute the defendant to the fullest extent of the law.
